Multispecies Postcards is an analogue format developed by NXT and inspired by our year-long activation with the Garden Caretaker project in Herlev.

Through creative and poetic writing, we tune into the voices of other species, exploring their thoughts, feelings, and experiences. Imagine seeing the world through the eyes of a kestrel, an oak tree, or a chanterelle mushroom, and ask—what would they want to tell us? How would a message from a non-human species to humans be expressed in written words?
At the recent event, ‘Desire for a New Society – Designing the Bridge to an Irresistible Future’ at DAC Dansish Architecturecentre, NXT facilitated a performative Multispecies Postcard workshop. Here, participants were invited to tune into the perspectives of non-human beings through handwritten postcards.

All the postcards from our performative workshop @DAC were stamped and mailed to participants across Europe.

We now eagerly await hearing back from the recipients!
