We do not just listen. Listening has been shaped by the technological devices of the 19th century and being a present listener is revolutionary, as Canadian composer Hildegard Westercamp puts it. In this episode we meet up with Sound Historian, Melissa Van Drie, to talk about ‘Politics of Listening’; and the revolutionary potential of listening.
